어느날 공주가 되어버렸다
Reading Here I started reading this a few months back, and since then have read other manhuas/mangas. Despite having read other ones, I keep coming back to this. It's, surprisingly, a really good read. The author fleshes out the emotions really well and gives it just enough panels to stick -- not too short, not too long. I think that's one of the strengths -- the timing. Not the story pace, mind you (that's another topic altogether). Every emotion, every scene is timed so beautifully. I also love how the characters are so distinct -- like omg y'all have personalities?! And y'all (well, almost) behave rationally!? Y'all have consistent characters?? *cries* Like if I think back on who Lucas is, or who Claude is, I will remember a distinct relatable trait. That's how I know that the characters have been developed well (unlike other manhuas/mangas where the author makes the FL unbearably rude without reason for about 20 chapters just because she's supposed to be 'strong' oooof please). They also have great character development. I love the interactions between the different characters. And the art. Let me just. *words fail* The art. My goodness. There are moments I need to just stop and thank the good Lord for living at a time where there is art like this. Okay I'm exaggerating but ... it's really beautifully drawn. A lot of thought and care by the artist to ensure the art complements the story. I love everything about it. Overall, would recommend. 9.5.
