so uh- I’m already obsessed. this is a hidden gem. the characters are ADORABLE. the story is so wholesome and pure? the story concept is a bit different from other stories. which is good- The art is really nice too! the beginning is a bit slow paced, but that’s a good thing because it gives us time to know the characters more! right now, there’s not many chapters but we’re getting close to the plot! I recommend and this made me smile a lot :))

I really don’t like the idea of bringing someone like her to a city, she is used to dealing with a small number of people and probably wouldn’t like the sounds of the forest being replaced by a major capital city, not to talk about the stress she would have to get used to. she is good at dealing with people from the village because they are not strong at all, there isn’t anyone that is actually courageous neither powerful enough to beat her, but being a noble? damn, it is not even about being beaten, nobility is about words and gossip, public humiliation, poison, wars… that’s way different from a little fight with some villagers. anyway, I said this because I think that if I were in her position, being born and living my whole life as a hunter then suddenly going to such a place, I wouldn’t be able to deal with it

I mean, as far as stuff like gossip and social shunning and such goes, that’s nothing new for her. I do think she would have a difficult time, but I don’t think it would be much more difficult than what she already experiences, if at all. She clearly suffers from loneliness, and I don’t think she particularly loves anything about her life. The only thing there for her is her memories of her grandpa. Now she has him, and she’s getting that feeling of belonging and companionship that she’s been missing. I think she’d be far happier with him regardless of the circumstances than she would be staying there alone. Going back to being alone would probably be far harder for her than following him back to the city.

I think you are right about the gossip, but I also think I haven’t let my principal point very clear, and that is how will she deal with a place where she knows nothing about and has nothing she likes or is interested in. she definitely isn’t the type of person who would be really happy or excited with a crown, jewels, and beautiful dresses, what she likes and makes her excited is the forest itself and what there is inside of it. she likes hunting, she likes to coexist with the animals and she likes the feeling of adrenaline of being in the forest, she knows every cm of it. I think the city would be kinda boring, she doesn’t have the comprehension neither she values anything there, just like she gave a ruby to the ml as if it was nothing. but yeah, maybe even all of the forest that she loves so much isn’t comparable to her love to the ml and the feeling of being accompanied by someone she loves

depending on the way the author set up the world though, she could very well have ready access to all of that there. We also don’t know if/how she may change in the future. It’s hard to say whether or not she’ll like certain things about the city anyways since she’s had no experience with anything like it. Naturally she’d have some degree of difficulty there be it great or small, but she’s also clearly a strong person.

he was escaping an attempt on his life, personally I wouldn’t define that as coming of his own accord. The point is that he was brought suddenly into a situation where he was very outside of his element, but he wound up being happy because of her. I think the same would go in the reverse situation. She would be very much outside of her element, but she’d be much happier in a strange place with him than in a familiar place alone. Also, I don’t think the gossip and criticism she would face from the nobles would be much worse than what she faces from the townspeople

btw for anybody wondering how the doctor knew he was a noble, it’s probably fairly plain to see. Commoners would have a much more worn and torn appearance. They’d almost always be much more tan, their skin would likely be much more blemished and calloused, and their hair would be visibly less healthy

1) honestly, aside from her unrealistic relationship with the townsfolk and not having any family to share her home with (until now hehe), she’s straight up living my ideal retirement life
2) if I were her, assuming I could afford it, I would just stop selling meat to anybody who was a dick to me
edit: also just gonna throw out there, pls be patient with my likely future complaining about X unrealistic thing, such as her owning an oven being special.
