I can’t help but think that there is zero chance that other teams can ever complete their shadow world with how stupid they are compared to desir.

I think in this case it was actually supposed to be relatively easy, just an escort mission which other competent teams could probably do, but when desir accidentally fell off the ship and incidentally wrecked that first chimera lab, his team got a secret mission which ramped up the difficulty.
So a decent strong team that doesn’t wander around too much from the original objective should be able to complete their shadow world as long as they don’t fuck it up too much! I do agree that other teams on this mission would get completely wrecked if they got the secret objective though.

Love this! I like it when mc has a tragic past and they come back but you can still see the effects their past life had on them and how it motivates their current actions. It’s so frustrating how many isekai and time travel manhwas just mention the mcs past and then like have them completely forget about it for the rest of the story. Thankfully this story doesn’t do that which gives the mc needed depth. I like the friends he makes—the supporting characters are fairly well fleshed out and you can see how much he cares for them. I think the magic system and world is interesting as well and the pacing is good! Plenty of action and political intrigue and enemies for the mc to overcome! Highly recommend!
