It might be far from truth but my theory is, Vasser started her novel from when Prince Wein(her novel’s protagonist) got reincarnated so whatever happened before that isn’t known to either Vasser, the novel’s fans and even us the viewers. And to top that Vasser previously said that the other prince(Otten I think) was also a reincarnated character so that makes Kyte the only one in the novel that lived through and experienced it all. I absolutely loved this manhwa. The plot was extremely unique and everything fit together like a puzzle piece. I do admit the MC’s actions at the start were annoying and tempted me to drop this but luckily I prevailed. The art overall was not the best but it was still enjoyable. I really liked the ML and Perrat’s personalities. The ‘monsters’ were also really cute and enjoyable. Despite these factors I do think that some plot points were unnecessary and some side stories were best untouched. But luckily they somehow mingled in with the main plot. The middle was a bit dragged on regarding the main relationship and conflicts with the green prince.

No one is at fault, and she especially can’t be held responsible for whatever “annoying behavior” she has done.

I don’t think what happened with the world tree is something Vasser can easily tell Kyte. The tree tells her to return to the real world to fix this fantasy world, but if she did that, she knew she would have little chance to return to the fantasy world. She also knew that Kyte would not want her to go back to the real world, and she did not dare to ask him to come with her because that would be a selfish request. That’s why she did not tell him about the thing happened to the world tree because she was afraid it would make him more worried, espeically when he was still concerned with his mother’s safety at that time.

its not a choice she can make selfishly. Her conscience is most likely nipping at her mind. Moreover she now knows how much he loves her, and so she will definitely feel obligated to save him. Her guilt for ruining his life was already so extreme, therefore her guilt for being responsible for the destruction of his world will be even greater. She simply can’t stay by his side knowing that she’ll be the cause of destroying the world of the person she loves, it will probably drive her insane. And because she’s not originally from that world, when it disappears, and he disappears, she won’t. Ultimately meaning that she will be the only one who remembers the world for what it was (instead of a manhwa) and that she’ll forever blame herself for not being able to do anything knowing she had the power to do so. She’ll have to carry that weight on her shoulder and because in the original world her happiness was writing books, she’ll also lose that passion as she’ll be so conscious of what she writes as she knows that they’re actual people and that she can be responsible for wiping out a whole world. I imagine every time she sees her laptop, books etc. she’ll hate herself as it’ll remind her of the fact that she was responsible for hurting the man she loved the most and destroying the world she actually felt happy in, leading to her losing her hobby (which is more like an escape from the reality that is the job she dislikes, in short probably one of the few things she enjoyed) and because she lost that escape it’ll probably lead to self destruction.

The way I saw it was Rat liking Kyte, and I THOUGHT HE WAS ANNOYED BY CASSEL, but really I never noticed him ever developing feelings for her, so I viewed Rat as a character who had a crush on Kyte.
