The chapters become longer and longer, which is enjoyable. The plot thickens as well, suuuper interesting, and ofc the english is getting better. Initially the first 50-60 chapters are not so interesting, it’s more like setting the environment of FL. But as I said, the plot thickens.
The fact that they’re ruthless to each other is an interesting dynamic, not to mention that for once, FL has no memories from the previous body owner. FMP, I enjoy this story A LOT!

Not sure though! That was that and this is this! She had to put up with it to rescue her maid, but the punishment for the dress issue was another issue.
Its as if she’s been played at the palm of his hand! So pathetic! So much for her initial slogans of being a “capable” person and slapping the emperor for touching her! She swapped to this era while ranting at her ex for cheating on her, displaying a strength of will and wit. What happend to all that overnight?!

Both the story and the manhua has serious issues.
They both are pretty sloppy! Her character degraded so much so that its no longer believable! Just compare the first 7 chapters to these ones we’re at! How is it that the author hasn’t grasped his own story and character to such a miserable extent?! They seem to be worse than rookie writers with the way they handle their story.

If you’ve read most of the manhua similar to this on this site maybe, just maybe read this. It has short chapters and the translation is meh for most of it. FL is worse then naive most of the time and the ML takes advantage of that but( I think) still loves her. Things didn’t really start to get interesting until around chapter 75. Not very much romance UNLESS you countwhen the FL is reincarnated into the empresses body she is kneeling on the ground watching the ML have sex with a concubine in bed.
