This manga genuinely disgusts me so far
It was sold as a “women power” manga which I was excited to read because I’m sick of the ever so common damsel in distress set up for female protagonists
However by role reversal they mean to play into stereotypes heavily, just with switched genders (men have to sew and clean, women have to be strong and work kinda thing)
And I know not to expect her to start strong but she was very quickly put into a situation where she had to be saved by a man which wasn’t the best start
Chapter 8 was a bit too much for me to keep reading from there considering she was almostraped
She almost did the same thing to her husband in an earlier chapter, but stopped only because he was a virgin. Not because he didn’t consent.
So her personality is also a bit much…
Overall
The art is good and I cant speak much for the story in the later chapters because I cant bring myself to read anymore

The fact that you stopped at chapter 8 makes this review kind of not credible. A lot of the insensitivity has to do with the manwahs chronological setting, but it does to some degree address the societal pressures the males in that world go through. In fact, most women in this manwah aren’t given nearly as much autonomy or individuality. We see how “men” are treated in each rung of society from the prostitutes to the royal concubines.
We see how one of the MLs goes almost the whole 200 chapters distancing himself from the FL because he doesn’t want to be treated as a woman’s possession and instead pursues martial arts something that men are literally shunned for.
In fact, outside of the butterfly guy, most of the romance in this is slow burn with a ton of cringey fan service played for laughs.
It’s not the best, but for a manhua it’s pretty decent especially for a manhua it’s pretty decent.
