We will never know how, when or why she’s forgotten. We will never even know why she left him, nor why she will never succed to get away from him or if he ever finds out the truth about what she is hiding from him (whatever that shall be).
We won’t even get a clear answer wether she is pregnant and if it is with his child or a demon or whatever the hell else, because this will drag on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on as a hurt story where the MMC won’t listen to the FL, she won’t just shout out her feelings or what is bothering her and in the end the ML will just feel betrayed while the FL (might lose her child or whatever) and be entrapped by a (not dark but psycho) ML.
That’s my prediction from these first chapters and it’s pissing me off already.
DARK DOES NOT MEAN scumbag, abusive, violent, obsessive and possessive (because hey ‘females’ are objects, right) and later not even really regretful ML who will just be happy to have his object of desire (which he totally doesn’t want) trapped in a room with no windows and a chain on her ankle- it’s a somewhat maybe shady ML that cares for the FL in a dark world. He is supposed to be her glimmer of light (or the other way around)- but that might just be my opinion since so many ‘dark fantasy’s stories center around these abusive possessive ML.
