Personally I do not ship them because if you look at this from a different perspective you would see that this is not exactly a healthy relationship. Charlize is just in reality planting and raising a tyrant to bring down the empire because of what had happened to her before, but in reality she could’ve lived a much happier life if she had just stayed away from them completely. (The “they” I am referring to is the Imperial Family)
If she had stayed away from them she could’ve happily gotten married, sure in reality she would most likely have nightmares still. But at least she wouldn’t be in a place where all of the big bad stuff happened to her. She instead would’ve had a husband who knew what she was going through because he most likely would also experience the same thing. (The husband in reference would be Kahu, since it was shown that he remembers the previous life)
I think this story also could’ve taken a different path in which Charlize is still Dylan’s Teacher/Mentor/Master but Dylan doesn’t become obsessed with her and they instead became good friends. This way well yes Dylan would still most likely become a tyrant he wouldn’t chase after Charlize as shown in Chapter 0. It would also most likely mean that Charlize could have a happy life with whoever she marries. (Most likely Kahu)
The best example I can think of is ” The Monster Duchess and Contract Princess ” we can see in the story something similar to the relationship that Charlize and Dylan have. But the difference in these two stories is how it is presented. In the other story I am referencing, Eli would be in the spot of Dylan and Charlize would be in the spot of the Dowager Empress. Now the difference between the two is Eli believes that by doing what she is told she can rise to a higher station or restore honor to her family. But Eli isn’t the most sane person. But then we have Dylan, he is following what Charlize says because she’s the only person left that’s close to him. So he is willing to follow whatever he is told by Charlize. Even if it means becoming a tyrant and destroying the Empire.
Now moving on the similarities between Charlize and Dowager Empress ( Her name is mentioned to be Medea so I will use that hence forth) Medea her objective is to essentially take over the Empire, or destroy it in a sense and then rebuild it up to what she wants it to be. She is also the person who is using Eli and making her believe that she can accomplish what is stated in the previous part/parts. Moving onto Charlize ( I will hence forth refer to her as “Liz” because it is much easier to type) she wants to destroy the Empire for all of the wrongs she has suffered. And she wants it gone as soon as possible but understands that she has to wait. So for the best roughly 6-7 years she has slowly been making Dylan the best tyrant ever, she has made it so that he is the best tyrant and not the best Emperor which is what the people need.
Also looking at it all of the stuff that wronged her in the previous life hasn’t happened, and Liz doesn’t seem to acknowledge this fact, so as long as Liz never accepts the choice to become the “Empire’s Sword” she’ll be fine. Now I understand that she has a pent up aggression, and anger, and sadness. So fighting people would most likely help release it. But destroying an entire Empire in which the majority had no idea what had happened when it was the original timeline. Doesn’t seem like the best move, instead she should’ve tried to get the best option for the people and the empire to rule.
All in all Liz could’ve taken a less violent path and had a happier outcome. Not to say I don’t enjoy the story it just doesn’t feel like the way it was presented was the best option.

The duke is a literal monster of a father. And her brothers, for this situation I cannot blame them, I know they want to mend their broken relationship but it’s just not possible anymore. When they were younger, they were in the mindset to blame her, EVERYONE mistreated her, rumors about her came from everyone, her own father hated her, so as a child, you would follow that, as well as being in grief from their mothers death, you would dislike her. Plus, their father doesn’t seem to be a good father to them either, so that could’ve built pressure onto them if they accepted Char. Yet they were malicious, instead of just plain out ignoring, they choose to be malicious, ignoring her being mistreated, calling her a murderer, neglecting her and so much more.She’s still their sister, yet as they grew, and grew a mind of their own, they clung to their childish mindset, instead where they could talk with her about their reasons, apologize and not cling onto a broken relationship etc. If they could’ve been at least that mature, it would’ve helped. As someone who has undergone the same treatment, torture and abusive parents it is quite difficult to forgive someone especially when you’re young since that is the time where you develop as a person. Even if that person ask for forgiveness or regretted what they had done it will never change the fact that they still hurt that person. The art is beautiful, but at least from the first 23 chapters this story isn’t for me. The FL is a princess who travels back in time to get revenge on the succession of emperors who used her as their “swords” (seems like a knight/assassin). From what I understood it doesn’t seem clear why she wasn’t able to get herself out of that situation, but essentially she never wanted to kill anyone and is motivated by anger. The FL is OP- having unmatched skills with the sword, and magic, and just general brilliance when it comes to gathering intelligence. Despite this her revenge plan is anchored on grooming an OP prince (excellent swordsmanship, intelligence, painter, poet, writer) to “destroy the empire” and once that’s in motion she plans on leaving and watching it unfold.
My main issue is that the FL’s thought process isn’t clear. It feels like there are a lot of plot holes and it’s hard to be on board with the story when motivations aren’t making sense.

Hmm well from what I understand the reason she couldn’t break free in her previous life is because she was the emperor’s ‘sword’ but when it says sword, it doesn’t mean something like a right hand or the best knight. It means they literally turned her into an actual sword. I don’t know the what’s wrong with these people but they made experiments on her so she would turn into steel and she was used by several generations as a sword (a sword with a will and mind, actually. That was the goal of those experiments and they succeeded.) So since she was in the form of an object, she could feel that she was killing people but couldn’t do anything about it.
I think it’s a bit weird but that’s the case *shrug*. So now she wants to take revenge by using a psycho tyrant-to-be to ruin the empire. But I kinda feel you with the unclear motivations and plot holes ?… It might not be to your taste of course, I just wanted to clear any misunderstandings for those who read the comments to decide wether they’ll read this or not.

Is it just me or is the cover a different novel? “The prescious little sister of the villainous grand duke” it’s a story where a girl was reincarnated into a character in a book she read as the ‘sister’ of the villain born from the same mother or as they think, their ‘mother’ took the mc from her original mother who was about to kill her as a baby, and her real brother is actually the mc from the original novel whom will kill her brother from the ducal family.

The FL and the one from Death is The Only Ending For a Villainess have sort of the same personalities. They’re both cold, calculating, but really sweet. The art is amazing and the characters are stunning! Definitely recommend this!
