I’m feeling increasingly suspicious about why Ian’s Grandfather died at this point when things were going poorly for Stella when he survived in the original story.
I mean, granting that there are any number of theories for how a story can go from one world to another before someone from the other world goes to the world in the story, but in most of them there would be a clear logical connection between things not going well for Stella and Ian’s Grandfather dying.
I mean, with what Stella was telling Simon, it kinda seems like someone wanted to make it clear that this isn’t just “something that happened in the past.”
