     He shouldn’t have let Toban off the hook. To attack one of your guild comrades to steal his stuff after killing him ? That’s not acceptable, he should have report this to the guild leader. And if they didn’t expelled Toban, they he would have left the guild, you can’t be part of a guild that allows to kill other members to steal their stuff. Toban has no excuse. What’s the problem if Greed didn’t made him his stuff yet ? Greed is busy, he can’t spend all his time crafting other’s stuff, he also has to grind materials and stuff himself. And if I remember, there was a good reason for Troban being at the bottom of the list of the members to stuff.

              He doesnt and will probably never divorce Irene. And due to his relationship with her, and him coming to view the game not as a game but another world – it makes him having relations with another woman difficult because comes to truly love Irene. He even goes out of his way to make sure she has a longer lifespan. I stoped reading the light novel about 6months back. At that point it was leaning heavily towards Yura. The issue isnt just that he loves Irene, but feels his world women simply cant have feelings for him. It’s the wound left over from his first love.

           I haven’t read the novel, so I don’t know the full extent, but as far as I know: The npc doesn’t know she’s an npc, in a game, or that she’s marrying a “player.” Her personality and character was created by the game developers, they weren’t developed on her own. She has her own thoughts and all, but they are thoughts developed from the guidelines of the game. That’s why if she became Grid’s real wife which he dedicates his time to as his “family,” that’s where many lines separating reality from the game have been crossed. I’d marry an npc only for the benefits of marrying an npc in game. Not as irl happiness.

     He was too petty in this… I love revenge, but this was really petty revenge. The moment he planned to punch the guy that even apologized for his friends actions, you know he had his power go to his head. Just humiliate them and go. The bullying doesn’t seem to the point of total depression, rather just constant teasing and intimidation, there wasn’t a need to bother so much for them.

        They didnt do a good job adapting this part of the novel. He was truly bullied countless time. Both physical and mental. That third guy, while he did apologize later a few times for the other twos actions still stood by time and time again letting it happen. In my opinion his apologizing was cheap shit just to make him feel better and not because he actually cared about the ml.

        Well… unlike other games we are used to there are serious penalties for dying. I’d be more careful in wow if I dropped levels after death/dropped equipment and if I died twice couldnt log back in for 24 hours…

        Also… Yui? Do you mean the blood witch? That wasnt an NPC… shes a player. And thinking of the NPCs from this game as normal dull NPCs is really wrong. In the novel this is actually a huge focal point/issue. You got players using and abusing and killing NPCs but in really the world could be seen as a new world. As time goes by more “players” start realizing this issue with Grids help.
