He should have follow his original plan to meet is Isaac. It seem to me that the less requirements you need to form contract with demon Lord the more restrictions and control the demon Lord can put on you.
The crow demon Lord needs lots of sacrifice and it’s seem the best he could do was watch him meanwhile the snake demon Lord could even take over a body of his most powerless followers.
Out of the demon Lord we have seen so far malphas seem to be the safest to make contract with, even Issac his high priest seem to be care about the death of his followers even though he see other as tools.
Purson might be safe too since when skelly stole his follower Purson mark him personally as enemy instead of Malphas, his contract seem to be require sacrifice too but it still hasn’t explicitly shown.
On the other hand botis seem to see everyone else as tools and slave to use even his followers. The same could be seen from his high priest vibiro with his sadistic behavior

This is a pretty good series.It seems like lot of filler chapters but you realize that all of the “filler” chapters tie together starting near the end of season 2. Basically the first 50 chapters are introduction and the story gets much more interesting and complex after that.
