This really changed my mind, and then I started fighting back indeed. And surprisingly I got very good at it ? once I’d broken two three noses (figuratively, and once not figuratively ?) nobody dared bullying me anymore.
I started defending other poor, shy, bullied kids. I got labeled as a weird kid but I didn’t care, i was finally left in peace (and got my pack of nerdy friends ?)
Then growing up I’d learn some mma to really know how to fight. You never know.
Here what I want to say is that FL is right. You need to fight the bullies back, never let ’em do you wrong or come at you, for if you let them, they’ll just never stop.
And one advice: attack is the best defense. Attack by surprise especially.

It was ok! The beginning is kind of confusing. There are lots of little things that make you go “how did that happen”. The art is stunning and the facial expressions for the bad guys are pure GOLD! I think its not really more of a “popular trope” rather than a “lack of writing competency” of the author. Instead of building a proper love story or at least a well-timed build up (that makes the characters attracted to each other and make them want to have sex), the author just adds a “sex drug- problem” so they can skip all that build and get to the sex part. One night stand scenarios could work for a fast meet-to-sex build-up but I don’t think anyone would want to have a ONS with someone they met at the side of the road.
