I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I absolutely love this manhwa. The depth that goes into the “villains” when he relives their trauma is really something else. And the empathy he feels for them. He acknowledges their trauma and sees how they became the “villains”. I love his character. He’s not ruthless or op, he just does what he can to minimize the pain others go through, even when it means dying hundreds or even thousands of times if need be for that to happen. The rage the Demon king felt when her village was burnt to the ground was tangible. Honestly, the title Demon King doesn’t feel right for her. It’s just a title given to her by those who fear her.

For example, the higher his rank, the worse the penalty is with the Flame Emperor’s skill. He recently used the orc skill too. However, it’s only efficient towards orcs so he probably didn’t find it necessary to use it against non-orc species.

Short version-
I came in without much expectations and got a story where plot is great, art nice, comedy excellent, bit dark at times, even side characters show promise and is well translated. MC is lowkey a masochistic nutcase haunted by an annoyingly talkative but OPed ghost! I need more updates and I recommend you try it out.
Rant version- MC was a despairing nobody in the initial chapters and it was hard to accept him and his obsession. He was so extremely obsessed with top hunters (to the point of being pathological) that even the tower got fed up and gave him what he asked for. The shift in his personality right after seems a bit abrupt but then againwitnessing a murder, being murdered in cold blood by someone you obsessed over till recently and repeatedly committing suicide 4k+ times can mess up anyone’s mind. He’s a selfish but smart shameless scammer who wants to become strong and bask in admiration and jealousy from others. He does have a cheat skill but so far he’s not like other MCs who just use it to dominate everything, sabotage everyone, treat even allies like expendables and underlings, monopolise information/scenarios, spew self serving righteous sounding nonsense while taking the easy way out and finally become generic self entitled pricks. He instead knows he’s pathetic but still tries to create an end where everyone is happy and well. And that’s what makes this guy interesting.

Short version, it’s fantastic, although you may feel like you’re enduring some aspects of it for a number of chapters.
Slightly less short version: fairly well translated, fantastic art, attractive characters, same old worldbuild premise but the plot/story premise is much more unique and interesting, MC actually blows my mind, and while he’s OP it’s a more reasonable kind of OP like (as has been mentioned) a mix of solo Leveling and Re:Zero. The action scenes aren’t particularly impressive per se, but it’s early on and with that in mind I’d say they’re really good. There’s a lot of good laughs in here as well, and they’ve introduced some very enjoyable characters. Honestly, I was hooked when he made a decision that totally blew my mind a few minutes in. It’s well written, well drawn, well paced, and it may be one of my favorites now tbh. Needless to say, it has my seal of approval

interesting how the system counts suicide as murder. It’s probably kinda similar to a loophole in game interactions, where it was designed for an “earlier system” in which suicide wouldn’t allow one to come back to life, so since he can come back he was able to accrue over 4k “kills”
