It was really predictable that the Marquis would get caught. I am very torn between the idea that the box is the real ephialates plague and the idea that its not. They did say in a previous chapter that they found the plague. So its very likely that it is. I also said the Marquis would do something dumb and get caught if he stole it. The Duchess is a very smart woman and considering Leslie’s hate for the Marquis and her need for revenge she figured it out. Of course it is quite common for someone to act like that towards their abuser but she was never really that angry towards her biological mother. Her goal is to destroy the Marquises title and family. Most of the time their goal isn’t to destroy the title but to destroy the family in them. They usually take over the title not destroy it. If this makes sense. Also I’m interested to see the she meant the kids of the past sacrifices or the kids as in her own children. I do hope she meant the kids of the past sacrifices, it would make things more interesting.

Maybe Medea’s goal was to create a new virus from the ephialates virus. In other words this new virus could be another branch to the ephialates virus. Those kids who said they could be infected could be test subjects (unknowingly bc if they knew or cooperated they prolly wouldn’t have went to the duchess) and if they weren’t they could’ve been sent there to figure out the duchesses hand. It did surprise me that the father took the box. I think its either another thing that would restrict Leslie’s powers or the real ephialates virus (possibly the new virus). I think that rock weakened or is affecting her ability to use her powers but I also think that her powers haven’t been affected at all. As I said previously that there hasn’t been much attention on Leslie’s powers in recent chapters (roughly 30-40 chapters) so it could just be that her powers aren’t currently relevant. Also I hate that man with a burning passion (just wish I could slap this man into hell). I was really hoping that he would do the smart thing and go after Eli first but noooooo being a idiot is engraved in his brain.

Sorry to say this, but if you can’t do a good translation, just don’t do it. I already dropped other series that I liked in the begining because the translation became so poor that I couldn’t understand anything and it wasn’t enjoyable to read anymore. And when you add to a bad translation , pictures in the wrong order, it’s even worse.

It looks like we were both wrong. So Eli has the plague. Remember how they said they found the Plague in the last chapter. I think Eli’s mom is going to tip off the duchess. Obviously she thinks siding with the duchess is more beneficial than siding with Medea. I don’t think the father steal it. It seems like he’s going to go after Leslie first. If he does steal it I think the reason they would find it is because the father had no idea what the box has in it and he does something stupid like try to sell it. There is also a possibility that the box that Eli has is a decoy. And their keeping the real Plague box in a different place. We all know that entire family is extremely selfish so its kinda hard to predict what is going to happen.

Art was gorgeous and I’m very hooked on the very start of the manga. When Leslie was only 12 years old the art suit her since it was for her to be cute etc. But now, when she was already 16, the art was the same but it looked very similar as to when she was little. The art gave a big impact to me she looks okay but it just feels weird for me
a 12 year old art was made to suit a 16 year old one, it feels wrong smh. I dropped this since I got bored of the storyline, I value both the art and storyline greatly and won’t stick to a manga even if it was built with a great storyline but bad art vice versa. Plot was okay, actually I like the escalation of things, but the plot wasn’t able to distract me enough for me to overlook the art. Characters are excellent tho. FL and ML has a few interactions but they are both very adorable. FL is intelligent, kind and a powerful darkness attribute user while ML works as a paladin (if I remember correctly), ML possess holy power and has royal blood. Translation was great.I’ll recommend it if you won’t mind the art when she’s already 16 years old, other than that, it’s a good manga.
