Thinking about it, depends how fast he does it. Essentially, MC has 4 years to complete it: 90 million people died in the first 2 weeks, death rates are gonna drop lower after these two weeks to around 50 million(guess) per two weeks or 25 per week(estimated guess again). We have a round total population of 7,000,000,000 people, meaning that the MC has around 276 weeks to do it(7 billion can be condensed into 70 “hundred millions” meaning we have 69 “hundred millions left. 69 x 4 = 276) There are 52 weeks in a year, so 276 divided by 52 is 5.3. That’s the amount of time he has until civilization will “end”. Of course, this doesn’t include the fact that if 6 billion people died, earth would barely be savable so I took of a year. But then again, I also maybe put too high of estimates on how many people would die because earth might adapt so I’m just going to use 4 years as my general estimate, or 48 months or 212 weeks. If he continues at his pace so far, he’ll definitely never be able to save the earth, however, if he somehow increases it to doing a floor within 2 weeks, he should just be able to manage it.
There’s also the factor of the people who have escaped the tutorial already as well, with them being able to much more easily stop the invasion than normal humans so, eh, we dont really know.

That’s true. It would actually make sense considering the new group of people are saying that the monsters appeared two weeks ago, but the tutorial has been in place for months already. Then again, it could be that the tutorial was just a precursor to the actual invasion so there’s that. Either way, we’re gonna have to wait like 10 weeks to figure out so it sounds like a fun ride.

Later some romance-like content appears, but its purpose was to highlight the MC’s loneliness rather than start romance. The light novel has a very different feel and has a much more grim and raw flavor. The story’s read almost like Berserk at some points, not like just another isekai. Well hopefully the manga changes its tone in the coming chapters. The light novel’s a good read!

Hard Mode: 11/16
Hell Mode: 1/4
My guess is the second number is the amount of people who go in and the first number is the amount of people who will pass and thus come out. Alive. Pretty sure the rest are going to die. Meaning Hell Mode is definitely the hardest with only a 25% survival rate while Easy Mode has a 54.09% survival rate, Normal Mode has a 29.16% survival rate, and Hard Mode has a 68.75% survival rate. This is just my guess, but if I’m right… I’d want Hard Mode since it has the highest survival rate!
