OK, I’m gonna be critical for just a second here. Even though she gets fired up after every confrontation, she hasn’t actually won a single battle on her own. Verbally or through business. Even after her products got copied, she got an overly generous investor with money to spare to make it up for her.
Speaking of her business, it’s hard to imagine this hype continuing because a perfume is a luxury product that will last a user from anywhere to from six months to a couple years. I’ve had the same perfume bottle for two years now, and I barely put a dent in it. While it is a great business, repeat customers seem unlikely. Even collectors will only purchase a single bottle. I wonder if she will branch out from perfumes to adjacent products. I think it would be smarter for her to reduce the business hours and spend more time creating products and sourcing resources. Limited business hours also makes a place seem more exclusive.
I also wonder if skin related concerns will come up later in the story. As overtime perfume can weather and wear your skin in the areas you apply at, specifically your neck. Would love to see how she tackles skin concern in addition to luxury cosmetics.
