This is a must-read for anyone who is interested in the isekai genre, or fantasy in general.
The FL is actually quite smart, and she has good chemistry with the ML, who is *gorgeous* (sigh), and the situations she is placed in are perfect for setting up the story. She is a bit of a pushover, but starts to grow a backbone somewhat and is a very, very good villainess.
She somewhat resembles Penelope Eckhart(Death is the Only Ending for the Villainess) but the similarities end there, as she is a lot stronger mentally than Penelope is and she has a lot more potential.
Ayla(FL) was originally written as a flat, shallow character who was incredibly gullible and let people take advantage of her(so really not a very effective villain) so it’s interesting to see how the new Ayla breaks out of that trope and forms her own definition of villainy. Since the OG novel was written by a 14 yo girl, all the characters are vastly different from their first writings, for example, the protagonist is a lot more conniving than she was in the novel originally.
Add to that a yandere crown prince(got me feeling like a psycho, psycho) and a strong ML with on-point eyeliner game who is also 500 years old and evil, ah, so evil, and we have a keeper, folks!
Bookmark this one–you’ll want to binge later.

I like the mystical elements. It’s exciting to see the main characters go against the “god” in control of everything. I’m looking forward to see them take control of the situation and flip it.
